The Wiper Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka said on Wednesday that he is ready to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the next year’s elections.
Kalonzo who is on a three-day tour at the coast region said he is the best bet to run for presidency for the Cord coalition and asked his fellow co-principals Raila Odinga and Moses Wetang'ula to give him the opportunity to fly their flag.
The Wiper boss said he is ready to battle it out with President Uhuru Kenyatta and hand victory for the coalition.
"I have what it takes to bring back the glory of this country, which has been tainted by massive corruption being perpetrated by the Jubilee regime," Kalonzo said.
"I deputised retired President Mwai Kibaki and later supported my brother Raila, now I am going for the top seat," he said.
Kalonzo was accompanied by Tana River governor Hussein Dado and Mombasa senator Omar.
Wiper is at the coast region to drum up support for Kalonzo to be picked as the Cord’s presidential torch-bearer.
