Three months after his dramatic deportation from Kenya, Congolese music maestro Koffi Olomide has offered an apology to Kenya over the incident that lead to his deportation.
Koffi Olomide has never openly talked about the incident since then, till on Sunday when a video of him apologising was played on NTV's Churchil Show.
In the video, Koffi asked Kenyans to forgive him for he's just a human being prone to making mistakes.
“My fellow brothers and sisters in Kenya, I want to send you a message of love and respect. I am sorry for what happened last time and I ask that you forgive me for what happened. I am only a human being even though I am a superstar,” he said.
Koffi went ahead to state that most people thought he would not apologize but he went ahead, and it's the boldest thing he's ever done and that he would do it from the bottom of his heart.
In the incident that happened on July 22 causing wrath from Kenyans, the musician was caught on video kicking one of his female dancers upon arrival at the airport.
