Former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has said that she is still in the Jubilee coalition.
Speaking to this writer, Ngilu said that although she is in Jubilee coalition, she will not dissolve her Narc Kenya Party and join Jubilee Party, as doing so will take away her political bargaining power.
"If I dissolve Narc as I have invested my resources, skills and experience to build and sustain the party, If I dissolve it and join a new outfit, then I'm likely to get a raw deal the way I was pushed off by KANU in 1992," she said.
The former CS has declared that she will be vying for the Kitui governor's seat using her Narc Party and that she will be fielding candidates for other elective seats, a move that is likely to complicate her relationship with the Jubilee leadership that has called on all parties under the coalition to dissolve and join Jubilee Party.
