Garissa township MP aspirant has Nassir Dolal has mantained that he is in the race to unseat the National assembly majority leader Aden Duale.
Dolal has denied information going round on social media that he has stepped down for Wiper's Farah Maalim.
Dolal vied for the seat in 2013 but lost with a narrow margin to Duale.
Dolal told the Star that come rain or sunshine, his name will be on the ballot.
"No frustration or propaganda will make me drop my bid," he noted.
ODM party failed to give him direct ticket but said that he is ready to vie with another ticket, adding that come August 8, Garissa township shall have a new MP.
