Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM-K) leader Kalonzo Musyoka has lamented that he mentors many politicians from his Ukambani backyard but after thriving in politics they forsake him.
He cited Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua whom he said he guided to grow politically but after achieving success Mutua abandoned him.
"Mutua used me to climb to the top and after achieving what he wanted, he threw the ladder away," said Kalonzo.
The NASA presidential running mate also mentioned a number of MPs from the region who got to parliament through the Wiper ticket but later decamped to President Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee Party.
"That is why I told Uhuru that I gave him those who defected from Wiper, but he should know that they are ending their term as elected leaders now," he noted.
The former Vice President added: "I am tired of being used by Kamba politicians to build themselves and forget about me."
Kalonzo made the remarks in Machakos County on Tuesday while campaigning for Wiper gubernatorial candidate Wavinya Ndeti where he vowed to teach Governor Mutua a lesson.
"Mutua is in for a big shock since Wavinya Ndeti will win the August 8 elections dramatically," Kalonzo stated.
