Former AFC Leopards, Nakumatt FC, and Kakamega Homeboyz midfielder Martin Imbalambala is among six players that have been shown the door by Kenyan Premier League newbies, Vihiga United ahead of the second leg that is set to kick off at the end of June.
Joining Imbalambala out of the club is former KCB midfielder Victor Ayugi, who joined the Edward Manoah coached side at the start of 2018 Kenyan Premier League campaign.
Former Kibera Black Stars midfielder William Oricho who equally joined the club in January has also been shown the door.
Others are former Palos midfielder Jacob Atinda, striker Dennis Lugalia and Wycliffe Kabaji, a defender who joined the club from Chavakali High School.
Vihiga has had a largely underwhelming first leg and currently sits 12th in the Kenyan Premier League with 19 points.
Coach Edward Manoah is looking to better the team's fortunes in the second leg. The club is expected to add some quality players during the June transfer window.
