Addressing journalists at Mangu’ shopping centre on Monday, the Ward Representative said the move to impeach Kabogo is ill timed.

He instead urged MCAs and other county leaders to negotiate with the Governor on key issues facing the people.

“I don’t think the move to impeach Kabogo over taxes is a good idea, we should give dialogue a chance,” said Gachihi.

He noted that dialogue should be given priority noting that it is the best saluting and strategy to address conflict.

The MCA also urged Kiambu leaders to shun their differences and work together to achieve development.

The Ward Representative noted that leaders must learn to accommodate each other’s views and work together.

“We cannot all be perfect, we must learn on how to work together as leaders,” added the MCA

Elsewhere, Sigona MCA Hudoson Mutonya has asked the Kiambu government to improve roads in his ward.

In a media briefing with journalists on Sunday at the Ward, the MCA complained over poor roads connecting the area.

He said that poor roads have hindered development of the area and that business people and farmers are finding it hard to access markets.
