Machakos town MP Victor Munyaka has urged Kenyans to accept the proposed Cuban doctors so as to ensure well distributed health access across the nation.

Munyaka asked the government to distribute the Cuban doctors in the 47 counties and proportionally procure enough equipment for the same.

He addressed the press at the home of prominent businessman, the late Augustine Bahati, who reportedly died from Cardiac arrest in Machakos County on Tuesday morning.

According to Munyaka, “the plan by the government to import the Caribbean medics should be fast tracked so that the health facilities which have medical equipment and lack personnel to operate them should come back to work.”

Bahati fell ill 20 minutes away from Machakos Level Five Hospital and by the time he was booked at the facility, he had lost his life.

An incident Munyaka said resulted due to lack of well organized personnel and medication at the Machakos Level Five Hospital.

Bahati was among the wealthiest businessmen in Machakos County.

Munyaka termed his demise as a big loss to the Kamba community and country at large.

The Jubilee MP lauded NASA leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta's handshake.

He said the two leaders did a great job by appointing the 14 member committee to lead other Kenyans in advocating for national unity across the country.
