Mogaka, who was speaking on Sunday at Maburi Primary school In Nyaribari Chache constituency during the launch of his feeding programme noted that some schools lack laboratories, libraries and adequate classrooms, stressing teachers who are forced to teach students in shifts due to lack of enough classrooms.

“There are many challenges in our schools which need to be addressed by being given first priorities more so in terms of Infrastructure, since the programme is not devolved, we urge the member of National assembly to work on that in order to help schools," said Mogaka.

In addition, he said that it is so shocking finding teachers teaching in shifts simply because there are no enough classrooms.

“There are major issues that need to be addressed by our leaders, in our school we wish to challenge them to set up resources which will enable our schools improve their standards,” added Mogaka.
