A man has been charged in court with defiling his daughter.

A court on Friday charged the father for allegedly sleeping with his 17-year-old daughter.

Standing before Ogembo Resident Magistrate Caroline Ateya, the accused Evans Oroo Ogembo faced two counts of sexual assault and incest.​

He however denied the charges and was detained in remand as police conduct more investigations.

The court was told that on June 20, Ogembo committed offence. 

The hearing was set for next week.
