Gatundu south Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has defended Governor William Kabogo from Kiambu leaders terming them as vultures with spiteful and hateful of ongoing development in Kiambu.
This comes after vicious leaders according to the MP were inciting the residents against the state accusing the governor for allegedly squandering 800 million shillings meant for development.
Moses Kuria said that the leaders are just like vultures that wait for the downfall of the governor to jump into the seat like a hawk and thus urged residents not to be misled by such malicious leaders.
“These leaders who promote hate speech are compared to vultures that want your down fall and celebrate but they will be surprised that you will still conquer them all,” said Kuria.
The legislator expressed his concerns with Kiambu leaders who tend to divide the county and thus advocate for them to focus on development and start building the nation.
He reminded them that the people of Kiambu had already chosen their leader and they can’t do anything to change what it has already happen citing the previous incident when the governor was given an ultimatum so and being threatened to be impeached.
The law maker who was speaking on Friday when the county boss officially opened a modern bus park and 60 modern shops in his constituency promised to back the governor to the very end regardless of the ups and down he undergoes.
He guaranteed Kabogo that Gatundu south residents are behind him and they will not be spurred by any leader in the constituency starting from him and the MCAs who are willing to support his development.
“The people of Gatundu are behind you your Excellency, and I assure you every leader in this constituency are behind you and nothing will make them deviate their minds from your good leadership,” assured the MP
He extended his gratitude however to the county boss for his support in fulfilling the promises he made to the area residents terming him as the leader who is determined in development.
