Kenyans have taken to social media to lash out at Embakasi East MP Babu Owino after the legislator posted an allegedly disturbing message on social media.
In the post, Owino called upon officers in the police and army forces to help their people against alleged government brutality.
While receiving approval from some, mostly NASA supporters, the post attracted a backlash from another section of Kenyans who demanded that he pulls down the post.
"Bullshit babu..Do you know what you are calling for? Be careful what you wish for..War Is nothing to joke around with because when it comes it destroys everyone..no one wins all sides loose..Think on that," said Hillary Nyaga.
"What are you calling for bastard? that’s your prayer that will never happen in kenya any officer(luo or not) is there to protect the current government, the distinction of using brain and foreskin to think," said Rash Peter.
Grace Ngunjiri said: So sad how you can speak like that.... Your leaders always want to divide us so you can rule us. You want this country in peril so you can have power. When people die war shall affect every single tribe.. You shall be nowhere to be seen. You shall fly your family out to safety and leave us including "your" people to suffer... When will we ever learn? Leaders DON'T CARE about us but ONLY themselves. We should liberate ourselves from them. So sad where we are headed. People making general conclusions about other tribes... Why are you turning people against each other? No offence, but i see nothing honorable about you."
NO to DRUGS said: "I wish at least having been to a reputable institution in Kenya would have made a difference in your life and way of thinking. It's so disgraceful to the wonderful reputable institution to have produced such a graduate like you."
Clement Kips Mutai said: "Advise your fellow boys to conduct themselves honourable while demonstrating. Otherwise we thank the Police most sincerely for the job well done."
