The Molo Pastors Fellowship led by their chairman Rev James Mburu raised the alarm that major trading centres in Molo, Kuresoi, Elburgon, Keringet and Olenguruone has been invaded by witchdoctors pocketing money at the expense of desperate residents

Rev Mburu said from street walls to tree branches, the witchdoctors are advertising their services in a cut throat competition with some claiming to cure untreatable ailments.

He said some were claiming to be from Pemba and Tanzania and they pin their bill boards declaring that they have powers to nab thieves, solve land disputes and marital problems among other weird claims.

The men of cloth warned resident against taking the concoctions prescribed by the witchdoctors saying they were criminals milking cash from unsuspecting people.

Rev Mburu claimed that medics from local hospitals have been ignoring patients who visit hospitals after using herbs given by witchdoctors.
