Opposition Chief Raila Odinga has received a major boost in his quest to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta.This comes after two Nyanza MPs elected on Independent tickets joined his camp ahead of the repeat presidential election slated for October 17.Kisumu East lawmaker Shakeel Shabbir and his Suna West counterpart Peter Masara have agreed to drum up support for Raila to ensure he wins with a landslide."Despite being elected on an Independent ticket, I will caucus with ODM and abide by its regulations," said Masara.The legislators said they will also work with ODM both inside and outside the National Assembly to push the opposition's agenda."I am in the process of making a formal agreement with ODM and will notify the Registrar of Political Parties about my move," said Shabbir.The Opposition has the minority in both the Senate and the National Assembly.
