Mobuso said those who will be found will face the full force of the law since it is against the law.

"I want to give a stern warning to landlords who have allowed their tenants to engage in the sale of illegal liquor that they will be arrested and charged in the court of law," said the Turbo Deputy County Commissioner during the Madaraka day celebrations, Friday.

He revealed that the businessmen have resolved to sell their illegal alcohol in houses due to regular operations that have flushed them from their normal business places in town.

“Any landlord who will allow such kind of business to continue will be arrested with the tenant. I will send my officers to carry out crackdowns to ensure that such businesses are not conducted in residential areas,” added Mobusa.

He, however, called upon residents to act as their watchdog by reporting anyone involved in the illegal business and promised to take stern actions against them.

Mobuso noted that the fight against illegal liquor is still on and that they will continue with the crackdown until sanity prevails.
