An opinion poll survey conducted by research firm Infotrak has revealed the National Super Alliance most preferred presidential candidate.

Most supporters of the Opposition believe that ODM leader Raila Odinga should be handed the NASA presidential ticket to take on Jubilee Party’s Uhuru Kenyatta.

68.3 per cent of those interviewed said Raila is the strongest among the Opposition leaders to carry the NASA flag.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka comes second with 13.1 per cent, while Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi is third with 12.3 per cent.

According to Infotrak, 2.2 per cent of Opposition supporters want Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula to be NASA’s flag bearer.

Jubilee Party supporters said that their preferred Nasa candidate is Mudavadi (27.3 per cent) while 26.5 pc said Raila is the most suitable candidate.

24.6 pc of the Jubilee supporters sampled preferred Kalonzo.

The survey was carried out between February 24 and March 2, where 1,500 respondents participated in the poll.
