AFC Leopards has once again broken into relegated Kenyan Premier League side Western Stima to take midfielder Brian Marita.

The former West Kenya Sugar player was targetted by Ingwe in 2016 but the deal did not go through after the two clubs failed to hit an agreement.

"Brian Marita is now an AFC Leopards player. We've agreed on everything and he has signed a two-year contract. He's a player we were interested in last year and I am glad that we've finally managed to get him. He's young, hard-working and I believe he will be of great help to the team," said chairman Dan Mule as reported by Futaa.

Mariita's signature comes after they earlier signed another player from Stima Ezekiel Otuoma in a bid to bolster the squad anhead of the coming season.

Otuoma was handed a two-year deal.

Other players signed by coach Robert Matano include Ezekiel Owade and Baker Lukoya.
