AFC Leopards have said they are ready to face Posta Rangers even with their injury headache.
Leopards are seven points below Rangers in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) log and with both sides booked for a Saturday 14 October face-off, the margin could extend to 10 or reduce to four if the win goes with Rangers or Ingwe respectively.
According to assistant coach Tom Juma, the team will be without some of their dependable players.
"Of course we have lost a lot of players to injuries in recent weeks and it has affected our preparations but we will not cling on that as an excuse heading into our next game against Rangers," he said.
"It is time for others to step up and fill the void left by their colleagues and we will be heading to Narok with a win on our minds,” Juma said as reported by Soka.
He added, “There are no easy games at this stage of the season. We need points but we know it won’t be a ride in the park with the likes of Muhoroni Youth still to come. For us, the players must now concentrate on giving better outings week in week out if we are to finish in the upper end of the league table.”
The match will be at the Narok County Stadium starting 3pm EAT.
