Chemelil FC goalkeeper Jairus Adira has completed his move to AFC Leopards on a two-year deal. Adira will be joining goalkeepers Gabriel Andika and Ezekiel Owade in standing between the goalposts in favor of Ingwe. Ingwe chairman Dan Mule confirmed Adira's move to the club, saying that he has begun training with the team and that the technical bench has shown Interest in him. Mule said Leopards have signed Adira since their goalkeeper Edwin Mukolwe had joined Nairobi based Wazito on loan. He added that with the addition of Adira, the club will have three goalkeepers competing for starting place in the team. Mukolwe was a third choice goalkeeper at Ingwe for the last two seasons, but the club saw it wise to let him go to Wazito so that he can gain more play time. "Adira has joined us on a two-year deal. He has been training with the team and impressed the technical bench. We had to sign another keeper because Mukolwe (Edwin) has joined Wazito on loan, with Adira on board, we have three good keepers who will compete for the starting place in the team which is a good thing," Chairman Dan Mule confirmed. Adira who won the 2014 Kenya Premier League (KPL) goalkeeper of the year had also played for Sony sugar in the KPL.
