Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards have strapped former Asante Kotoko Ghanaian striker Eric Bekoe on a two-year-deal.

Bekoe, 30, landed in the country on Thursday morning to sign  the contract which keeps him with domestic winners till end of 2019.

He is now the club’s fifth foreign signing. KPL’s foreign quota rule allows a maximum of five non Kenyan players per club.

The former Liberty Professionals goal poacher was the toast of Kotoko when they raised Ghana Premier League title in 2008 – becoming the league’s top scorer.

A move to Egyptian Premier League with Petrojet came after but the results were not as expected because he struggled with injuries that impeded his growth.

Bekoe went back home to play for Sekondi Hasscas in the 2016 season.

Leopards have offered  him a chance to rise back to his feet. He will be expected to lead the team’s attack in the league, in defense of their domestic cup and in the CAF Confederations Cup.
