AFC Leopards star midfielder Allan Kateregga has finally opened up on what motivated him to join Ugandan side Kampala Capital City Authority FC.
Kateregga said that he had many offers on the table and it was difficult choosing a single side.
He however says he chose the Kampala side because of its great performance, considering they are the Ugandan League defending champions.
"Several clubs expressed their interests (in my service) but I settled for KCCA FC because they have good structures, they reached Caf group stages and are (domestic) champions. Everyone would love to play for the champions," Kateregga said.
"I expect to gain a lot of experience from the coach and players. There is a lot that one can gain from them because they managed to reach (Caf confederations) group stages."
Kateregga officially started training with the club Wednesday 20 September as they prepare to tackle URA FC in a league encounter next Friday at Namboole.
