Kenya Premier League (KPL) giants AFC Leopards will include their new signings in the line-up travelling to Tanzania for the Sportpesa Super Cup tournament to be staged in the league's June mid-season break.
As an effort to ensure a Kenyan side comes back with the gong, AFC Leopards Organising Secretary Timothy Lilumbi has said they will travel with a strong squad including the new players.
"Sh3 million is a lot of money and so we will take a strong team to Tanzania. We will even travel with some of the new players we have signed," Lilumbi said.
Ingwe have signed Burundian striker Alexis Kitenge and are closing in on Uganda's Keziron Kizito and Western Stima's defender Wesley Nyangweso.
Other Kenyan sides invited are Tusker FC, Gor Mahia and Nakuru AllStars.
They will play against Tanzanian giants Yanga, Simba and Singinda for the cup and a Sh3 million token for the winner.
