AFC Leopards are set to sign former Gor Mahia midfielder Collins 'Gatusso' Okoth for the 2018 Kenyan Premier League season.

The club confirmed their interest in the midfielder who has lacked a team since he was dropped in June by Gor.

Gatusso earlier worked with Ingwe coach Robert Matano at Tusker FC in the 2012 season.

However, the talks have not been finalised.

"Nothing has been agreed on just yet. He is a player the coach wants and we are talking to him, we hope to reach an agreement soon," said AFC chairman Dan Mule as reported by Futaa.com. 

Apart from Gor and Tusker, Gatusso has also played for Sofapaka in his career.
