AFC Leopards have expressed worry about the injuries picked by dependable starters Robinson Kamura and Ghanaian forward Gilbert Fiamenyo.
Although Leopards won the match against Nzoia 2-1, Kamura had to be stretched off to pave way for Ramadhan Yakubu while goal scorer Fiamenyo followed a few minutes later.
Leopards Head coach Stewart Hall now says the injuries could be serious and could render the duo unavailable during their duel against Ulinzi Stars on Wednesday.
"Yes am a bit worried because we have a game on Wednesday but we have a good squad. Today at halftime we thought we needed more quality and we were fortunate we had Kateregga to bring on. When Rob got injured we had Rama who has played a lot of football last season in KPL and at the end brought in a young striker (Marcelus Ingosti for Injured Fiamenyo) who is quick at connecting things up. Rather than looking at the injuries I rather be positive that I have a strong bench," he said.
Ingwe will be seeking a third win of the season on Wednesday against the military side in an effort to go top of the table on nine points above current toppers Bandari.
