AFC Leopards shot stopprr Ian Otieno has finally received a call up to the national team ahead of the Malawi friendly.

Head coach Stanley Okumbi had already named a 25 man squad comprising of local players to face the Southern Africa country in preparation CHAN.

Otieno was consequently congragulated by his club.

"Congratulations Ian Otieno for earning a call up to the national team for the Malawi friendly match. He joins Robinson Kamura, Duncan Otieno and Paul Kiongera in the Harambee Stars camp, the club said.

Kenya has played two international friendlies a 2-1 win over DR Congo and a 1-1 draw with neighbours Uganda.
