Migosi MCA Paul Achayo speaking at an education forum in his ward on Friday said most youth were poor because they rely on hand outs from government and politicians.

The MCA said it will be hard for the youth to fight poverty if they continued to rely on politicians.

He told them to stop being used by politicians who later dump them after winning in elections.

Achayo also said the county government has many initiatives which can help them grow economically.

He also said the Uwezo and youth enterprise funds can be borrowed to help them initiate income generating projects.
