Opposition leaders have dismissed the Ipsos Synovate poll results that did not favour Cord leader Raila Odinga saying they were meant to blackmail him.
According to the acting ODM Secretary General Agnes Zani, the ratings did not add up to 100 percent and did not explain regional balance.
"It is so sad that Ipsos came up with the data it cannot verify but was confident to push for certain agenda which everyone knows," Zani said.
"The questions were crafted to portray our party leader instead of investing on issues which directly affect Kenyan and leave voters to decide who is popular," she added.
Speaking in her office on Wednesday, the nominated senator wondered why there were more Jubilee respondents than their Cord counterparts and why they did not accurately represent various regions.
According to Dr. Zani, the poll was meant to interfere with Kenyans' mind and to shape the the politics of 2017.
"Let us not use polls for propaganda but be factual and have all data available verified," she added.
