It has emerged that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka held a private meeting with his ANC counterpart Musalia Mudavadi on Wednesday.
The meeting whose details have not been disclosed to the public was held at Wiper headquaters in Lavington Nairobi.
It is speculated that the meeting's main agenda was to discuss the NASA flagbearer issue that has elicited a lot of debate on who should take the mantle.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, the two leaders said that there should be no anxiety over the presidential candidate.
“The anxiety will come to an end and soon one of us will present papers to the IEBC. Nothing has been concluded so people have to wait for formal communication,” said Mudavadi.
According to Nairobi Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke , the teo leaders were deliberating on matters regarding NASA.
Mueke also did not give details regatding the meeting.
“There is no discord in NASA, They all work as a team. They are just consulting and catching up before the retreat,” said Mueke.
Mueke affirmed that that the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) was yet to conclude its work on NASA's presidential candidate.
