Michael Olunga Ogada commonly known as Olunga is a Kenyan Professional football player, who plays as a striker for La Liga side Girona FC and the Kenya National football team.
The 24 year old footballer began his career with Liberty Sports Academy, where he made most of his efforts count scoring a record 32 goals for the team. Olunga was later loaned to premier League side Tusker in 2012.
After finishing the season with two goals under his name for Tusker. Olunga was loaned to league opponents Thika United for One year.
League holders Gor Mahia later inquired for his services at the beginning of the 2015 season. It didn't take long for Olunga to break into the first team for Gor Mahia,becoming club's top scorer in the league with 19 goals. He was instrumental in Gor Mahia's unbeaten run and also in the title triumph.
This form prompted Swedish team Djurgårdens IF to sign him on a four-year contract in 2016 where he scored 16 goals in his debut season. In 2017 Olunga later signed for Chinese club Guizhou Zhicheng wherehe was later loaned to Girona FC.
Since making his debut Olunga has made ten appearances for Girona this season scoring 3 goals and assisting one.
