A section of NASA leaders has revealed the existence of an elaborate plan to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta is smoothly kicked out of office in order to create room for Raila Odinga.
According to Siaya Senator James Orengo, part of NASA's plan is to ensure Uhuru leaves office voluntarily without being forced.
Speaking over the weekend, Orengo stated that the swearing-in of Raila as the people's president on January 30 was part of the plan.
"We have crafted strategies that will see Raila ascend to the throne of power and later issued with instruments of power,” said Orengo.
The Senior Counsel stated that Uhuru will exit office in a similar manner as his South African counterpart Jacob Zuma.
“Where is the difference between Uhuru and former South African President Jacob Juma who vacated office within 48 hours despite being the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces?" paused Orengo.
He called on Kenyans to trust the Opposition, adding that it will fulfill its promise for them to settle in 'Canaan'.
The lawmaker affirmed that Odinga's presidency will ensure equality of all Kenyans.
“All regions will prosper economically since devolution, which is almost dying under the leadership of Jubilee, was Raila's brainchild," added Orengo.
Orengo was speaking in Gem constituency in Siaya County where he was accompanied by Governor Cornel Rasanga.
