The National Super Alliance has released a schedule ahead of the return of principal’s Kalonzo Musyoka Musyoka and Raila Odinga.
The two are expected to jet in on Friday morning after departing Germany on Thursday night.
Raila is set to leave US today and head to Europe where he is expected to meet his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka in Germany.
In a statement released by NASA on Monday, the opposition stated that it will hold a curtain raiser rally at the Kamukunji grounds in preparation for what they termed as the grand welcome for the two leaders.
“We welcome all Kenyans to this grand Thursday rally and the arrival party on Friday. All these are part of our continuing journey of ensuring electoral justice and putting to an end the evil culture of sham elections with predetermined outcomes,” the statement read.
“To this effect, the organizers of the grand welcome invite supporters to a major rally at the Kamkunji grounds. The rally will be a dress-rehearsal for the Friday grand welcome,” the statement added.
The statement was co-signed by Siaya Senator James Orengo and former senators Johnson Muthama (Machakos) and Boni Khalwale (Kakamega). Sham elections
Upon arrival, the NASA leaders and supporters will hold a procession on Mombasa road and head to Uhuru Park for rally.
