The National Super Alliance (NASA) has come up with a new campaign plan to protect votes during the October 17 repeat presidential polls.

The strategy has been dubbed as 'Linda Kura Operation'.

The new plan will see governors in coordinate with a secretariat that will have its presence on the polling station level.

The secretariat will work with the county organising committee that comprises the governor, senator, the county party chairman, all MPs, the speaker, the woman representative and community representatives.

Parliamentarians will be sub-county coordinators leading MCAs (ward coordinators) who will work with the polling station coordinator.

According to Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o, this new structure will ensure NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga gets maximum votes in the repeat presidential election.

"We have resolved to push for a 100 percent voter turnout in the coming election to enable our leader Raila Odinga wins the presidential seat," Prof Nyong’o stated. The Governor is coordinating campaigns in Nyanza and Western regions.
