Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho has come out strongly to tell off his critics.
The governor has said that despite what the hate mongers say, he will be governor yet again come 2017.
‘‘Insulting me will not win you votes,’’ said Joho.
Thye governor was speaking during the annual Mombasa Eid Baraza on Sunday.
I have been elected twice and I will be elected the third time so that we also hold this Eid Baraza at State House, Mombasa, someday,” the governor said.
Despite fighting for the gubernatorial seat next year, Joho also plans to become Kenya’s sixth president in 2022.
This will, however, be a very tough battle for the governor as competitors such as Deputy President William Ruto, Bungoma senator, Moses Wetangula nad Cord co-pricipal, Kalozo Musyoka will all be eyeing the seat.
