Uasin Gishu Gospel Ministers chairman Bishop Wilson Kurui is now advising Kenyans to intermarry.

This, he said is a long term solution to tribalism challenge that the country is currently crumbling with.

Speaking at his Jesus is Love Ministries grounds in Eldoret, Sunday, Bishop Kurui noted that should all the young generation focus on intermarriage, tribalism in the country will soon be a thing of the past.

"Once people intermarry, this issue of tribal alignment during election period will never be there and I believe this is the best way to deal with this tribalism menace," noted Bishop Kurui.

He however asked Kenyans not to be divided on tribal lines by politicians out to ascend to power at the expense of innocent Kenyans.

"Elections come and go but we all remain Kenyans irrespective of our political affiliations or tribe. Politics should not divide us," said Bishop Kurui.
