Intern doctors will now earn more than some university professors.

Intern doctors have signed a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that will see them pocket a salary that will be more than that of some of the university professors.

The highest paid will pocket Sh814,000 per month, while the least paid will earn Sh212,989 per month.

University lecturers are also getting salary increment that will see the lowest paid, earn Sh85,159 from Sh69,794. 

According to Ureport, the least paid university professors, earn Sh171,207. Doctors have been on the streets, protesting poor pay, paralysing health operations in public hospitals.
