In the aftermath of the Supreme Court ruling, international media outlets have been falling over themselves to report on the development.
Interestingly, perhaps not surprising, the media stations have reported on the ruling from different angles,
Aljazeera reported that Kenya's opposition had said that Uhuru's reelection was illegitimate despite the Supreme Court ruling upholding it.
The Qatar-based outlet also focused on the violence that followed the ruling in some Nairobi suburbs.
America's The New York Times, in an article published on its website, termed the ruling final.
The article also focused on NASA's frustrations
''Kenya’s Supreme Court on Monday dismissed two petitions seeking to overturn last month’s presidential vote, paving the way for the inauguration of President Uhuru Kenyatta for a second term.'' The New York Times wrote.
The United Kingdom's Guardian newspaper expressed doubts that the ruling would end the political crisis in the country.
''The ruling is unlikely to end the worst political crisis in a decade in East Africa’s richest and most developed economy, which has seen more than 60 people killed in political violence in three months.'' The Guardian wrote.
''Kenya's top court rejects petition to nullify election result.'' The Financial Times wrote.
