[Governor Nyong'o Press Unit]Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang Nyong'o, met representatives from the Psychological Society of Kenya, led by Dr Muma, Dr Enos Sikanga and Counsellors Colina Obare, Jane Atieno and Collins Oruko.They informed the govenor that the organisation will host an International Psychology conference in Kisumu from November 20th to 24th 2017. The theme of the conference: "The Cancer Epidermic - a neglected health problem or a crisis in slow motion".During the Friday meeting, the officials elaborated that Cancer had become the no one cause of death in Kenya plus the combined number of deaths from HIV, TB and Malaria, due to late diagnosis of cancer.Nyong'o affirmed that his administration was pleased to welcome the conference to Kisumu. He said the county government, will work alongside the City manager Doris Ombara to ensure the success of the conference.
