Two students stand a chance to pursue their high school education at the International School of Kenya (ISK) in Nairobi. The recipients will pursue their high school education in a community of more than 940 students from over 60 nationalities.

The school’s 2018 High School Scholarship Programme provides opportunities for low to middle-income Kenyan students to participate in an academically rich and culturally diverse learning environment.

Scholarships are now being accepted for students entering Grade 9 or Grade 10 in August 2018. Applications are only open Kenyan citizens with proven financial need and in order to qualify, applicants must be 14 years of age by September 2018.

The applicants must have also completed Primary School Education (Class 8), have the high academic achievement and sound leadership skills.They must also have the ability to live in Nairobi with family or legal guardians.

Recipients of a full scholarship that is valued at Sh 11 million a four-year scholarship will be announced in May 2018.

The scholarship recipients are entitled to a 100 percent reduction in tuition and fees. In addition, the admission fee, bus fee, IB exam fee and capital levy fee are fully covered by the scholarship.

A student who has been awarded a scholarship will be entitled to receive it for the duration of his or her time at ISK provided the student remains in good standing academically and socially. The scholarship programme was launched in 2012 and the initial recipients are currently studying at universities abroad.
