“We have discovered that it is favourables especially with carrots, tomatoes, spinach and others. This is because you can control the factors in there,” John Muiruri said.

Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri congratulated the farmers for diversification of farming in the area which has led to increased tomatoes harvest.

“We can now see how this has helped our people. Some people cannot even believe that this (tomato) is from Bahati,” Kimani said.

During the event, several groups from Bahati were given Green Hosues.
