Speaking on Monday at Nyagacha Market, Ogugu challenged the riders to shun immorality, alcohol and instead focus on projects that can help them in future.

According to the MCA, many youths have lost direction in life after engaging in immorality, alcoholism among other illicit behaviours.

Ogugu asked the operators to form Saccos where they can save money which they can later use to initiate projects to generate more income.

The MCA promised to help them succeed in their business ventures if only they heed his advise.

He reiterated that he will only assist those who have formed groups and saccos.

“I am asking all bodaboda riders in my ward to form groups, saccos so that you can be become the best in society,” said the Magenche MCA.

Ogugu officially opened the Nyagacha bodaboda station shed for use by the operators especially during the El Nino rains.
