Governor Kinuthia Mbugua on Sunday called on bodaboda riders to diversify and invest in other fields through their Saccos.
Speaking at the function for the Elburgon Bodaboda Sacco, Mbugua said that through these other investments the young riders will be able to improve their lives and build better lives.
"There are many other areas you can reap from including farming, real estate and many others. You have the potential to even change the economy of this area and I urge you to take advantage of the current leadership which has the youth's interest at heart," he said.
The governor also warned the riders on allowing politics into their Sacco.
In addition, he also cautioned on proper use of their funds which he said should be channelled towards transforming their lives.
The governor contributed over 200,000 in the harambee that was also attended by Molo MP Jacob Macharia, MCAs and several county officers.
