According to Ongwae the county’s education system may fail due to the frequent fires that has put most children at a risk.

“Last year alone there were more than eight fire cases in different schools in this county which caused huge loss. I am therefore urging the police to find out the cause of the frequent fire incidences. This will help us to prevent fire out break,” said Ongwae.

H e also called upon the rescue team established by the county to be alert incase of fire in school and other institution.

“Often our schools are razed down by fire or roofs are blown off by wind but fire brigade take long to reach on the spot hence more loss,” notes Ongwae.
