The Suba Member of Parliament (MP) says that the study has now exposed what the opposition has been fighting, adding that Jubilee government is tolerating corruption that is eating up the country's resources.

"The EACC should move in and investigate the Deputy President Office over corruption allegations as revealed by the Info-track study," said Mbadi on Sunday in Kisii.

The ODM chairman said that opposition will continue to castigate the Jubilee government for failing to tame corruption, stating that Kenyans were tired with Uhuru's government for failing to crack the whip on government officers engaging in corruption and misuse of public resources.

A recent study by Info-track released on Tuesday last week  placed DP Ruto's office among the top corrupt government offices in the country, claiming that corruption at the Deputy President Office stands at 51 per cent.

The survey conducted between May 31 and June 8, 2016 further showed that corruption at President Kenyatta's office stands at 46.4 per cent.

The Info-track survey rated the police force as the most corrupt at 88.5 per cent followed by county governments at 78 per cent and the Judiciary at 72.1 per cent.

Opposition leaders have been accusing the Uhuru government of doing little to combat corruption, with several graft cases having been exposed in government recently.

Last year, former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru resigned after her office was implicated in the loss of Sh791 Million at the National Youth Service.

Several people among them former Devolution Principal Secretary Peter Mangiti are facing prosecution in regards to the loss of NYS Millions.
