Kenya's matatu owners want the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission to audit the lifestyles of traffic police officers.The request was made during the Matatu's Owners Association governing council workshop.''The traffic police officers should be investigated by the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission. Those who are found to have lifestyles that are beyond what their salaries afford them should be charged with engaging in corruption.'' Simon Kimutai, the chairman of MOA said at City Hotel.Surveys have revealed that traffic police officers are the most corrupt of workers. Efforts to rid the force of corrupt elements have not achieved much.
