The Kisii county administrator in Keroka market Kennedy Mogire has urged investors to come and invest in Keroka.
Speaking on yesterday at Keroka, he said that it is a peaceful place despite some few individuals who are used to cause chaos in the market.
“Despise the wrangles which have been in this market for some time now there is peace in the market on both sides of Nyamira and Kisii county," he said.
"we would like to welcome the investors so that they can invest in this town,” said Mogire.
In addition, he urged the police to investigate those who are being used by politicians to cause disruption in the market.
“My appeal to the police is that let them launch the investigation which can help us to curb some individuals who are used to cause chaos in the market,” added Mogire.
Mogire also said that the county government of Kisii has started the construction of roads as one way of developing and opening up the market.
“We have started to construct some of the roads which were in the development plan of 1971 as one way of developing the town," said Mogire.
"We will do this until we make sure that Keroka has developed,” he added.
