Kisii County investors have donated food and blankets to families that lost their relatives during a road accident that occurred last week at Cheplet which left 7 people dead.
They have also vowed to develop the county by working with the county government to fulfill its agendas.
Speaking on Tuesday in Kisii town during the collection of the donations from the investors, Mr Charles Mochama, the Director Set Green Hill and the secretary of all investors in Kisii said that they agreed to come together and work as a community to foster development.
“We have agreed to come together as investors of this county so that we can work together to ensure develop this county,” said Mr Mochama
He also noted that the turn out by investors to help the families that lost their loved ones during the Cheplet road accident was well represented.
“Today (Tuesday), we have collected some donations from our investors and they have turned out well by providing their donations that we are going to give to the affected families,” said Mr Mochama.
Among the investors who contributed are Kenya Commercial Bank which gave 14 blankets and 5 bundles of Unga, Oshwal Supermarket bundles of unga and Cooperative Bank 75 blankets, among others.
