“Our sub county officials are not engaging us in development, we deserve to know what is going on,” he said.

Kimilu noted that many youths in they are languishing in unemployment a move that has seen the join criminal groups.

To address the matter, the youth leader demanded that the sub county government to fully engage them.

He stated that young people are getting depressed daily by the government failure to create job opportunities.

Kimilu intimated that time has come for them to seek other ways of earning income instead of waiting for the government.

The youth leader, while acknowledging the existence of Uwezo fund, said that many young people have no information about Uwezo.

“We only hear of Uwezo fund in the media, we have never seen anyone approach us to educate us on the same,” he added.
