Synovate's lead research analyst Tom Wolf has stated that the media selectively focused on findings that most Kenyans want Cord leader Raila Odinga to retire from politics at the expense of other important findings.

Wolf speaking on Thursday morning said that the selective reporting has made Kenyans condemn the research firm for no reason.

"The question as to whether Mr Odinga should retire from active politics was part six of our questionnaire. We had other vital questions like the KDF presence in Somalia, the performance of the current government, poverty levels among other questions but the media chose to downplay most of them," said Wolf in an interview with Radio Maisha.

The firm has been on the spot after it was accused of being obsessed with Odinga's retirement age following the recent opinion poll findings that were released on Tuesday.

A section of opposition members have also condemned the firm claiming that it (Ipsos) was being influenced by Jubilee government in order to ruin Odinga' career.
