Kajiado Governor David Nkedianye on Thursday had to flee to safety during a fund-raiser in Mosorio Ward, Kajiado West.
According to citizentv.co.ke, Nkedianye had not been invited to the event organised by the women from the area allied to the Jubilee Party.
Former Interior Cabinet secretary Joseph ole Lenku was the chief guest.
The governor, who was elected on an ODM ticket, was shouted down by youth who also threatened to rough him up after he was invited by ole Lenku to address the gathering.
Citizentv.co.ke further adds that Nkedianye questioned Jubilee’s renewed interest to the region saying residents have found a home in the ODM.
The remarks angered the youth who branded the county boss a failure accusing him of uncompleted projects across the region.
