Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has for the first time spoken after it emerged that she was planning to move back to ODM party together with her son, Stephen Kariuki.
It’s alleged that she made this decision after feeling frustrated in Jubilee and that Peter Kenneth's entry into the Nairobi race could curtail her chance of clinching the party nomination for governor.
Bishop Wanjiru responded to these claims on social media where she set the record straight saying that Jubilee was her home and she was not contemplating to leave.
"I am a Jubilee Party life member. That statement is false and meant to hoodwink the people of Nairobi. Nawapenda wote," she wrote on her Facebook account.
Wanjiru is looking to contest for the Jubilee ticket alongside Mike Sonko, Johnstone Sakaja, Peter Kenneth and Dennis Waweru.
